Changing an Account

1. When you first enter the Account option a Select An Account window will appear:

Scroll down the list of accounts to locate the account you would like to edit. You may select the account by double clicking or by highlighting the account and pressing Enter; the account will display.

2. Command options will appear:

Select Change.

3. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the screen and make any necessary changes. When finished, use the Enter, Tab, Page Down, or arrow keys to move through the remaining fields.

Note: Account numbers starting with 10 are either a cash account or a checking account. If an account number starting with 10 is selected to be changed, a Select An Option window will appear, allowing you to specify whether the account is a cash account or a checking account.

4. Command options will appear:

 

Select Update. The account will not reflect any changes until you select Update.

 

Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.

Note: Once an account has been created you may not change the account number. To change the number you must delete the record and create a new record.
